Center Parcs Win Tommy's Parent Friendly Awards

Center Parcs has won 'Best UK Holiday Provider' for the fifth year running in the prestigious 'Tommy's Parent Friendly Awards 2008' organised by 'Tommy's The Baby Charity'. Center Parcs received the award at a special ceremony that took place at the Manadarin Oriental Hotel on 14th March 2008. The Tommy's Parent Friendly Awards are voted by parents, for parents, and aim to raise awareness of the needs of parents, parents to be and families - encouraging companies to meet their needs.

The award was presented by Floella Benjamin OBE to Center Parcs Marketing Manager, Helen Horner who was thrilled to receive the award, “We are absolutely delighted to have been acknowledged by Tommy's as the most parent friendly UK holiday company for the fifth year.   These awards mean the world to us as they have been voted for by parents. At Center Parcs we recognise that taking a baby or toddler on a short break can be quite daunting and therefore we are committed to providing facilities and parent friendly service that ensures parents, toddlers and babies alike can all have a relaxing hassle-free break”.

Center Parcs offers the perfect short break for parents with young children, set in 400 acres of woodland it the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.  All the villas are very child friendly and there's a high chair and cot in each one.  Cars are banned, so parents and children can enjoy a traffic free environment.  Guests can walk or cycle and there are special child bicycle seats and trailers available for the little ones. 

Tommy's Campaign is a charity that was founded in 1992 to raise money to fund vital research into the causes of premature birth, miscarriage and stillbirth and aims to give every baby the best possible start to life. Tommy's 'Parent Friendly Awards', which have also been running for thirteen years, credit companies that are taking parents' needs into consideration, and helping to make their lives less stressful.
